Natasha practices in civil litigation with a focus on professional liability and insurance defence.
Natasha grew up in Oakville, Ontario, a quiet suburbia home to Ron Maclean and the largest per-capita ratio of small dogs to handbags.
Natasha attended McGill University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in 2013. From this experience, she developed a love for the Habs that some might call unfounded. She is well-equipped to face adversity from other hockey fans and continues to keep the rumour mill of the Montreal Gazette in business.
After some time away from academia, she attended law school at Bond University in Australia and boarded one of the longest non-stop flights around. While there, Natasha acted as President of the Canadian Law Students’ Association and took up Mooting. She was awarded as a top oralist in the largest mooting competition in Australia in 2016 and participated in the Wilson Moot in Toronto in 2017. In her final semester, Natasha earned the First in Class Prize in Corporate Law, graduating with Honours.
Despite appearances, not all of her time away was spent in the pursuit of knowledge. Though most would not call her a “risk-taker”, she did psych herself up to bungee jump in the Great Barrier Reef by reading the waiver of liability forms!
After returning home to Canada, Natasha worked at Halton Community Legal Services and then articled at an insurance defence firm in Hamilton. She completed the Around the Bay, a Hamilton right of passage and is now on the lookout for a similar feat in the Southwest.
She was called to the bar in 2019 and made her move to London shortly thereafter.
She volunteers with London Lawyers Feed the Hungry, a truly necessary service for those most vulnerable in society. Outside of work, she can be found discussing the burden of proof over a pint with her better half.
